Introduction

Pfam

This is a family of fungal and plant CMS1-like proteins. The family has similarity to the DEAD-box helicases.

InterPro

This family includes fungal and plant Cms1 proteins and Cmss1 (Cms1 ribosomal small subunit homologue) from metazoa. Budding yeast Cms1 may play a role in the regulation of DNA replication and cell cycle control [PUBMED:11787774].
